A Special Day

If you had to choose a day of the year what would it be? Your birthday? Christmas Day? The longest day of the year? A bank holiday? On Sunday, at the 10am service, we explored a range of days that were significant - King Charles’ coronation, VE Day and 365 days ago (on Sunday) the day we moved back into church. 

Henri, who was preaching, helped us to consider the ways in which the church has grown and the ways in which the church building has been used by our community. But importantly she reminded us that the church is not the building - it is the people. 

And as God’s people, as we grow, as we reach out to our community Jesus promises to be with us. So whatever day we choose as our favourite day, and indeed every day, we can be assured that Jesus is with us, always, to the very end of the age.
