Concerts at St Peter's

St Peter's Church is a popular venue for a variety of daytime recitals and evening concerts.

There are regular concerts by a range of different performers including chamber choirs, orchestras and individual recitalists.  St Peter's is also one of the venues for the biennial St Albans International Organ Festival and Competitions.

Following completion of our building work to replace the nave floor we are now able to take bookings for concerts for 2025/ 2026.  The church is a beautiful, light space ideal for concerts and performances and now has flexible seating to accommodate up to 300 people in the nave.

We hold Lunchtime recitals on Wednesday at 1pm every week during term time and these raise money for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice.  More information available here.

If you would like more information about holding a concert at St Peter's please contact Carolyn in the church office on c.alexander@stpeterschurch.uk.com

Most of the rest of the programme is acapella and ranges from spirituals,
