About Us

Our church has long been a place of hospitality as one the city’s ancient gateway churches and people have worshipped here for over a thousand years.

Today we continue to offer a welcome to many from across the city and surrounding area, whether drawn by the quality of our music and choral tradition, our provision for children and young families, our offering of diverse opportunities for worship,  prayer and learning, the strong sense of community we seek to foster - or for many other reasons.  Our vision is to be “a church for the city – welcoming all, celebrating life, sharing the journey”.  If you would like to join us for any of our services or midweek activities, we hope you will feel at home, make new friends, and most important of all, be enabled to grow in friendship with God.
