Longest Night Service
Time & Location
About the Event
Join us for a quieter, more comtemplative service of readings, carols and prayers, held at this time when the nights are at their longest.
This recognises that for many of us, particularly this year, Christmas may be a time of grief, loss or sadness, and offers a chance to reflect on the coming of light and hope in the darkness of Advent.
This service will also be streamed live, so please note that whilst we never film close-ups of members of the congregation, there is a chance you might be featured in a wide shot of the church.
Please also note that due to Covid restrictions, we do need to ask all adults to wear a mask for the duration of the service, unless you have a medical exemption. Unfortunately congregational singing is also not allowed at this time. You will be asked to register as you arrive. Pews are marked out to allow for social distancing - please do be sure to register and to sit with other members of your household.
