We invite you to worship with us on Sundays. We have four services:
8am - Holy Communion (traditional Book of Common Prayer with a homily but without hymns, celebrated in the chancel).
9.30am - Holy Communion (Common Worship with hymns and a sermon, a crèche for babies, activities for children, a choir and a monthly all-age orchestra). Children of all ages are welcome at all services, but they will feel especially at home at this one, and can join our Junior Church if they want to.
10.30am - Coffee, tea, juice and biscuits served in the Octagon.
11.15am - Choral Mattins (Book of Common Prayer service of morning prayer led by a choir with hymns and sermon). This is occasionally replaced by Choral Eucharist. Please check 'Our services this week' on the home page.
6.30pm - Choral Evensong (the Book of Common Prayer service of evening prayer led by a choir with hymns and sermon).
Healing services: you are invited to receive anointing with the Bishop's oil for healing at certain services of Holy Communion. Please check 'Our services this week' on the home page.
Communion at home: if you need to receive Holy Communion at home, please contact one of our ministers to arrange it.
If you have a disability which may make it difficult for you to participate, please let the minister know. We already have an induction loop for those with hearing aids, and large-print copies of the Holy Communion service are available. Wheelchair access is available, and scheduled to be improved. We will do our best to make you comfortable.
Morning Prayer is said Tuesday to Friday at 9am in the Chancel. This is a quiet service conducted in a circle around a candle using the Common Worship form of Daily Prayer.
There is a lunchtime Eucharist on Tuesday 1pm - 1.30pm.
Please check 'Our services this week' on the home page for any changes.
