Sunday Worship
We invite you to worship with us on Sundays. We have four services:
8am Holy Communion (traditional Book of Common Prayer without hymns
or a sermon, celebrated in the chancel)
9.30am
Holy Communion (using one of the new Common Worship services, with hymns
and a sermon, a crèche for babies, activities for children, a
choir and a monthly all-age orchestra). Children from 0-18 are welcome
at all services, but they will feel especially at home at this one,
and can join our Junior Church if they want to.
10.30 Coffee, tea, juice and biscuits served in the Octagon
11am Choral Matins (Book of Common Prayer service of morning prayer
led by a choir with hymns and sermon). This will be occasionally replaced
by Choral Eucharist. Please see the month's notices for details.
6.30pm
Choral Evensong (the Book of Common Prayer service of evening prayer
led by a choir with hymns and sermon).
Healing services: you are invited to receive anointing with the Bishop's
oil for healing at services of Holy Communion. Please look at this month's
notices for details.
Communion at home: if you need to receive Holy Communion at home, please
contact one of the clergy to arrange it.
If you have a disability which may make it difficult for you to participate,
please let the clergy know. We already have an induction loop for those
with hearing aids, and large-print copies of the Holy Communion service
are available. Wheelchair access is available, and scheduled to be improved.
We will do our best to make you comfortable.
