APCM - Annual Parochial Church Meeting
The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) 29 April 2018 at 1200 noon
Please note the APCM meeting will be held in church after a celebration eucharist at 10:30am (replacing the 9.30am and 11:15am services). There will be a break for coffee before the start of the meeting, and a bring and share lunch will follow.
This is a good opportunity to look back at the past year and ahead to our future vision. At this meeting the church accounts for the year are presented and reports on the various areas of church life are received. All those who are on the electoral roll of St Peter's are welcome and have the right to vote.
This is the annual occasion when roughly one third of the PCC elected membership are newly elected or re-elected. This year there are also elections for a lay parish representative to Deanery Synod for a two-year term. At the meeting the revised Electoral Roll is received and any amendments will be processed after the meeting.
Immediately prior to the APCM is the Annual Parish Meeting. This is a very short meeting open to all those who live in the parish and the main business is election or re-election of the church wardens.
