Taizé is a monastic order who welcome young pilgrims from across the globe to spend a week with them, in prayer, worship and Bible study, and experience time dedicated to God. Taizé offers a chance to connect with God away from the clamour of the everyday world.
In July the Bishop of Hertford is inviting people aged between 15 and 29 from around the Diocese of St Albans to make the journey to Taizé, an international Christian community in France. For many young people, a trip to Taizé is a life changing experience, one that helps them explore and own faith for themselves. In a world of endless communications and busyness, Taizé offers time and space to go deeper into God - to breathe, to listen, to think and to live for a while to the beat of heaven.
For more information, please contact Revd Jos Perris (firstname.lastname@example.org) who will be accompanying people from St Peter's on the trip.
On Sunday 26th March BBC Three Counties Radio broadcast a piece about Taize on the Sunday Breakfast programme with Helen Legh. You can listen, share and download the audio file by single clicking HERE
