Concerts

From September our Wednesday lunchtime concerts support the Grove House Hospice. Professional and amateur musicans are giving their time generously, and look forward to playing for you at 1pm on these Wednesdays.

Evening Concerts 2008
January 5	7.30pm Pastime with Good Company Musical Chairs for a Tudor Christmas and New Year for voices, viols and recorders. The Hengrave Singers with The Stonesfield Consort of Viols and The Willson Recorder Consort.
January 19	5.30pm IOF Saturday Organ Concert Series Recital given by Henry Fairs, Winner of the Second Prize, Interpretation Competition, St Albans 2005 The programme will include music by Maurice Durufly, J S Bach, Max Reger and Oliver Messiaen
January 26	7.30pm Amadeus Chamber Orchestra
February 23	5.30pm IOF Saturday Organ Concert Series Recital given by David Sanger. The programme will include music by George D Leyding, J S Bach, Olivier Messiaen, Louis Vierne and Oskar Lindberg
March 1	7.30pm Mosaic - Music for Lent Including works by Britten, Howells, Poulenc & Duruflé. Director: Nicholas Robinson, Organist: Simon Johnson. Tickets £12 (concessions £10) available from 01923 260363 or at the door
