Youth Café (13-16 yrs)

Youth Café is a discussion group for teenagers aged 13-16 years.

The group meets on Sundays during term time at 11.30am, after the 9.30am service. The group chooses the discussion subjects to suit their interests and topical issues.  This is then led by one of our youth leaders or a specialist in a particular field is invited in to talk to the group.  Recent subjects have ranged from terrorism (where a lawyer helped them enact a fake trial for 'Jihadi John') to a session on social enterprise (as a result of which the Youth Café Group now run a social enterprise on a monthly basis in the form of a Fairtrade stall).  There is also an annual trip away. In 2015 the group spent a weekend at Carrotty Wood Adventure Centre for a whole range of activities.

Summer term starts on Sunday 7 May at 11.15am.

For more information on our youth activities, please email The Revd Jos Perris, Associate Priest and Missioner for Young Families at assocpriest@stpeterschurch.uk.com.
