St Peter's church is currently seeking:

  • An experienced part-time office assistant (17.5 hours per week)

to support the wide-ranging work at this busy city-centre church.

St Peter’s church is located at the top of the high street in St Albans. There is a wide range of activities throughout the week catering for all ages, including toddler groups, children's groups, youth groups, choir, concerts, and teas for senior ages. Sunday worship is varied reflecting our open and inclusive stance and our aim to welcome all. Our connection to city centre churches opens a door to experiencing ecumenical relationships, and our links with the city council and local schools provide the opportunity to see all our ministry as missional. 

You will have: 

  • excellent IT skills using Word, Excel, Powerpoint, email and the Internet.
  • strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • good attention to detail and the ability to manage your time effectively and set prioities to meet deadlines.
  • the ability to work in a team and use your own initiative.
