St Peter's church is currently seeking:

A part-time youth leader
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of the growing children and youth work at St Peter’s church – a vibrant Anglican church in St Albans town centre?
St Peter’s church is located at the top of the high street in St Albans. There is a wide range of activities throughout the week catering for all ages, including toddler groups, children's groups, youth groups, choir, concerts, and teas for senior ages. Sunday worship is varied reflecting our open and inclusive stance and our aim to welcome all. Our connection to city centre churches opens a door to experiencing ecumenical relationships, and our links with the city council and local schools provide the opportunity to see all our ministry as missional. St Peter’s has a committed team of leaders and helpers that support the different aspects of church life.
We are looking for two people to join our ministry team, for 20 hours per week each, to develop further this exciting ministry.
You will be:
- an experienced practitioner with appropriate qualifications;
- an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills;
- able to recruit, lead and develop teams of volunteers across the parish.
