Music & Bells

Music

Bell tower - internalTo discuss music for your wedding, please talk to the Director of Music, Nicholas Robinson, on 01727 860830 or 07817 281370. He will be able to arrange organ music, and a choir in term times. If you wish to video the service, there is an extra fee.

Traditionally, weddings begin with music for the Bride's entrance, and finish with special music for the Bride and Groom as they leave. There is usually music during The Signing of the Registers. Most couples choose two or three hymns. If you do not want to have a specially printed Order of Service, please make sure that the hymns you choose are in the church's hymn books The English Hymnal and Hymns Old and New. You may also choose to have a psalm sung by the choir or choir and congregation.

An extra fee of £20 for accompaniment of an outside soloist.

If your wedding falls within the holidays but you want a choir, please discuss this with the Director of Music.

BellsBells

We have a fine peal of bells at St Peter's and the team will be pleased to ring before and/or after your wedding. Please let us know what you would like when you book your wedding.
