St Peter's has two excellent choirs, one of 16 men and 20 boys, and another of 20 girls. These sing at Sunday services, major festivals and weddings. They are directed by Nicholas Robinson. The assistant is Alex Flood.

Boys between 7-12 and girls between 7-17 are welcome to audition at any time to join the choir. If they are successful, they sing with the choir as probationers for about six months and then are admitted as full members. They have opportunities to earn medals and they are paid according to experience and commitment.

Boys rehearse on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Gentlemen and girls on Fridays. The boys and men normally sing at Matins and Evensong, and the girls sing at 9.30 Holy Communion.

Parents are important to the choir: their commitment and hard work is very much appreciated. They often help with supervising the social life of the boys and girls, and there are several parties and barbecues through the year.

The All-age Orchestra accompanies the 9.30am Holy Communion service once a month, and also plays at the Christmas Eve Crib Service. It is directed by Alex Flood. Anyone is welcome to join. Please contact Alex for details on 839852.

The men, boys and girls of the choir are off to Berlin on the 26th of July for five days to sing two concerts and have a fun and relaxing time sightseeing, shopping and soaking up the Berlin summer.

They will be staying on Schwanenwerder, an island on the Wannsee to the west of Berlin where there will be a chance to swim and go boating on the lake.

The first concert will be at the Gedaechtniskirche on the Kurfurstnedamn on Tuesday 28th July at 15.30 and the second at St. Simeon Kirche in Kreuzberg at 18.00.
