Our Lent Study Group is shared this year with Marlborough Road Methodists and led jointly by the vicar and the Revd Dave Dickinson. We shall be using the latest York Course: "Handing on the Torch Sacred words for a secular age”.

We are now running a course for parents with children aged between 0-6 yrs old. The course is a chance to pick up some parenting tips. It is based on The Family Caring Trust materials and is a chance for parents to meet other parents and share the joys and tribulations of parenting together.

The Mattins Sermon Series for Lent is based around the Bishops "Lent Course Material ;Transforming Life", with informal discussion over refreshments at the end of Mattins. Dates inclusive between Sunday 26th February and Sunday 1st April. All at the usual 11.15 am.

The Friends has agreed once again to hold St Peter's Fair which this year will be on Saturday 26th May 2012. The Fair is being organised for St Peter's and local community as part of our community building vision. This year's Fair promises to be at least as popular as 2011's Summer Fair and is programmed for a Saturday rather than a Sunday. The Fair will commence around 11.30 am and the aim is for stalls and activities also to be dedicated to raising funds for The Friends and its work to support St Peter's God's Acre project.
