We are a Christian community whose aim is to make Jesus Christ known and loved everywhere. As a city centre church we also want to work alongside other groups and organisations in order to improve facilities for everyone who lives in our city.

Heritage Weekend - Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September

St Peter's is open as part of the national Heritage Open Days scheme in which over 3,000 events are taking place across the country. Our opening times are 1100-1700 on Saturday and 1400-1700 on Sunday.

There will be guided churchyard tours starting at 2.30pm on each day.

A special welcome to St Peter’s Church, St Albans

We invite you to worship with us

Sundays - We have four services
8.00 am - Holy Communion (said) - Book of Common Prayer
9.30 am - Holy Communion (sung) - Common Worship with crèche and Junior Church.
Second Sunday - All-age service with orchestra
11.15 am - Choral Mattins - Book of Common Prayer (service of morning prayer led by a choir)
6.30 pm - Choral Evensong - Book of Common Prayer
Weekdays - Morning Prayer in the Lady Chapel 9.00-9.30am
