Highly-talented soprano Melissa O'Donnell will be accompanied by pianist Cynthia O'Donnell in this lunch-time concert. They are two well-known local musicians whose classical cabaret is very popular, and whose variety of repertoire will please all listeners. St Peter’s will be opening its doors again to visitors for this on 10th and 11th September. There will be displays and information on the church and its history, and refreshments served. If you haven’t been along yourself before – do think of coming and / or encourage a friend. We also need volunteers to sign up for slots to welcome visitors. Morning Prayer – is now led Monday to Friday in the Lady Chapel, 9 am to 9.25 am. This follows the structure from Common Worship Daily Prayer, allowing the reading of scripture, psalms and canticles, to lead into intercessory prayer and space for silent prayer and meditation. You are welcome to join in regularly or occasionally, as part of finding your own rhythm of prayer and of starting the day.
