There is no need to be lonely at St Peter's; there is something going on practically every day here, and opportunities for everyone to join groups and activities.
Mother's Union - the local branch of an international group for and about families. Open to men and women. Please see our current programme. Talk to Valerie Bell on 01727 853227 about it.
Prayer group - an opportunity for informal prayer in someone's home. Please talk to Godfrey Lloyd if you are interested or need prayer.
Circle Dancing - folk dancing from around the world for relaxation and meditation led by Mary Barton. You don't need special clothes, or shoes, or a partner. Just come to Octagon on Mondays at 7.30pm. Sessions cost £1 and end at 9.00pm.
Book Group meets monthly to discuss a book of their choice. More details from Margaret Tinsley.
Parish Rambles are led by Sheelagh Marlow - a gentle guided walk in the countryside on Sunday afternoons between 2-5pm.
Greening the church: come along to the advertised meetings led in 2009 by Dennis Parker with Sally Martin; help work out how we can grow the 'Green Community'; involve yourself in the church's environmental initiatives as much or as little as you want; and generally enjoy being with others.
